Development

All LIONTOUCH designs have always been well thought through and a lot of efforts are put into every detail of our products to make sure that they are safe to play with.

All our swords and shields are made of EVA foam. (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate).
EVA foam is a very durable and flexible material. It is light, easy to clean and very soft which makes it very suitable for children’s play.
The different layers on the EVA swords have rounded ends and a very specific length, in order to make sure that the sword will bend and not cause injury.

All our textile costumes and accessories are made of high quality AZO free fabrics and no details are unprepared on these items either. As an example, we use velcro closings in a very specific tested size on all capes, to ensure that the items will easily open if it gets stuck during the play in order to avoid any risk of suffocation.

Furthermore our Princess Hats are provided with a very small veil in a non-flammable material. We would never consider using a long veil even though it would look beautiful. A long veil is simply too dangerous and would not pass a flammability test for toys.

Safety is therefore an essential part of our product development.
